Google Launches Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro

Google announced the launch of their new phones months ago, but their Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro officially launched this Tuesday. The Next Web claims they’ve had the phones in their hands for a few days now and were able to reveal some specifications.

According to Google statistics, Google is still the major driving force due to its search algorithm. Now it seems that with the new Pixel phones, the company will gain even greater popularity (if that’s even possible). The phones will be available in stores on October 28. Since the launch of their phones, Google accepts preorders in their stores.

What Can Consumers Expect?

The Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro more or less have the same specs, with the second being more powerful. Both work with the Google Tensor Processor, and their screens and rear camera are protected with Gorilla Glass Victus (new and improved glass, maybe the toughest gadget glass on the market). The Pixel 6 has a 6.4-inch OLED display with a flat-curved design, whereas the Pixel 6 Pro is somewhat larger in size (6.7-inch), with an LTPO OLED panel, and has slightly curved edges. They both offer a high refresh rate of 90 Hz and 120 Hz respectably, which allows for a better scrolling experience. The battery lasts more than 24 hours on both phones.

If you want a telephoto camera, then the Pixel 6 Pro should be your preferred choice as it has a 48MP F3.5 telephoto camera with 4x optical zoom, 1/2″ sensor size, and the ultrawide selfie camera is 11.1MP F2.2. That said, the Pixel 6 also has one of the best cameras on the market.

The starting price of the Pixel 6 is $599 which is even cheaper than the older phone in the Pixel series, with the larger Pixel 6 Pro going for $899.

Considering their pricing and all, these new phones in the Pixel family are extremely attractive since they offer great cameras and even greater hardware.
